Swiss powder
I noticed BACO is out of stock on 1 1/2 Swiss. Has anyone asked when they expect the next shipment?
I’m wondering if I need to cut back on my shooting.

You did the right thing, a good investment what with the rate of inflation
and prices likely to continue upward.
And I have found that the Swiss 1.5 works well in all my BP rifles, 45-70 down to the
38-50. I expect you will be able to use it to good effect in your 38-55, too.
Even if conventional "wisdom" suggests going to 3F in the smaller calibers, I found
that a load of 1.5 shot (at least?) as well as 3F in my 38-50.

Arnie,
I’ve been shooting Swiss 1 1/2 in the little gun with a patched, groove size, bullet from Jim’s mould for his 375H&H. It eats up a lot of powder space, but sure shoots well. I’m looking forward to my new mould and the bullet you designed for Matt and I.
You’re right about the checkbook, Don. But I’ll sleep better knowing I have enough powder to get me through at least most of next season! You gave me the nudge I needed!
