Why?????
Why....do we ponder around with these BPCR rifles, constantly searching for a 1/2 MOA load when we KNOW that we can get this shooting a modern rifle and smokeless loads??
I have a feeling that it's the CHALLENGE....more than anything else!

#1 is that I have learned to really enjoy my .40-65
#2 starting from scratch, did not even know how to load a cartridge about 4 years ago has been a fun/frustrating learning curve
#3 outshooting people in my area[them using modern rifles with high dollar scopes] with no scope and black powder @ 300 yards = "priceless"

I always shoot 1/2 inch one shot groups , its just the nature of the beast , every BP rifle I have will do it ,,, thats whats so good about black,
