RE: Bullet lube
I wouldn't say that. many want the mold to cast right at the desired dia, but I know a few who shoot really well with sized bullets. Bad is undersized or too far over.

RE: Bullet lube
Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that you shouldn't size bullets. I'm pretty confident that there are lots of guys with a lot more skill than I have and they size their bullets.

I just try to minimize the number of steps involved, particularly anything that involves messing with the bullet. I've got moulds now for pretty much all of my rifles that do not require sizing, although I run some paper patched bullets through a .451" Lee push through sizer :-).

RE: Bullet lube
Hi Katonka---------------whats your location-----------i spent considerable time in Hungary working over the years---------i have to admit my Magyar never was any good--Yo and Nem about my limit--spent much of my time there near Lake Balaton--Siofok to be exact

the folks here won't steer you wrong and lubes seem to be a rather personal thing----- the commercial selections all seem to work well and creating your own can be a fun exercise if you enjoy "do it yourself" stuff

keep us posted on your shooting

Hello Dave my location Colorado U.S.A. and come from Sárvár. Tó Balaton is very good place to look the womens, yes. I ask why you work in Hungary? You have time for hunt boar and stag near Balaton?

Today I order lube from Buffalo Arms SPG. Have measured diameter of bullets I cast comparison to bullets by Sagebrush and same diameter when size in .459 die. Now wait lube to arrive then I may shoot. I much enjoyment of the Shiloh rifle.

Hi Katonka----------Siofok and Balaton are wonderful places to "sight see" in the summer for sure

I was Engineering Manager for a company here in Texas ---------we had factory in Siofok--i coordinated our European engineering efforts with our state side systems

We did indeed hunt the boar------------the wild hogs here in Texas would run for their lives faced with the real boar from the hungarian forests-----------a very different hunt than here in the states--------shooting stations and driven boar---------i'm sure a Shiloh Sharps with good hunting bullets would be a fun way to shoot them------at 1300 fps with the big slugs it would be like shooting a shotgun as far as lead---holdover would be interesting even though the ranges we shot were fairly close say 50 to 100 meters

Oh by the way----Hungarian Wine is truly wonderful and not appreciated outside Huingary
