RE: Tried some Olde Eynsford
I shot better then a 1/2 box of 50 720 GG bullets at the Q using the 2F OE and never had a problem with accuracy using no fouling control. Missed one shot on the 600 yd, I thing I shot 12 or 13 rounds at it and I think it was my fault pushing my shoulder in when setting off the shot missed.
I hit 6 on the buff just load and shoot. Did better when playing with the 50 shooting dirty then during the match doing everything I could to hit controlling the fouling with the 44. As long as they make the old E I will use it.

I think if I used the 50 with just shooting dirty for the match I might have done better then I did.
Been thinking about pulling the 50 out of retirement again. Smile

I should of shot a 7 on the stop sign, using the BACO 434470 bullet , and the only fouling control was a dry brush up the bore 2-3 puffs on the blowtube, but I pulled a couple of shots, and called them.
A lot of folks that bought the OE that was available there were loading it at camp running down to the firing line and shooting it right then and there. I know there were several folks trying to figure out how to get it, so it must of been raising a good bit of interest.
Tim the Q is something everybody needs to do at least once, I liken it to the national rendezvous in the buckskining world , or a Sturgis like gathering.

Don, I have a friend that is in pray mt. and another in tompson falls mt. + my older brother is in casper wy. I will be there and then some this next summer. The game plan is to take 100,000 of my blanks with me and take care of my northern customers and come shoot with all you guys. So far its on track to happen. I am an avid fly fisherman so it will be the vacation I have been wanting to take for 30 yrs.Smile ( and maybe just maybe get to take a buffalo)Big GrinBig Grin

RE: Tried some Olde Eynsford
I been using OE in 2 and 1.5F and it is doing really well , the cases are clean ,fouling is soft and accuracy is right there.
I am having troubles with my cases stretching though for some reason in both the 45 2&7/8s and the 44 2&1/4 .I havent yet figured out if it needs less compression or something different than goex , when charging the case ,I have trimmed all my cases and have a bunch of different loads loaded and when it cools I will run more tests,
may be a good time to try it in the heat , it was 112 yesterday and 11 % humidity, that would have been a good test but I wasnt up to it.
