Kurt that Hepburn is a looker and would sure make someone a fine midrange/silhouette rifle.

Looks like a great project Don . 22 BPCR looks like a lot of fun . I have a old Winchester 1885 low wall 22lr winder with good tang sights and front globe it shoots better than me . What size groups will a good shooting 22 BPCR rifle do at 200yds ?

22bpcr is a hoot.

The rams are about 6 inches deep and 12 inches long, you want to be able to keep all your rounds centered up in the middle of him if you can.

Don what is the distance between center of bore to top of the stock comb on that Hep??

Don't know, and it's on it's way to Big Timber, might be about there by now...So I can't measure it for you right quick.
I did decide tho I think I'll just have Pat see if he can tighten up the headspace on that 40-70 and just have the 22 barrel put on a new one.. My dear wife says she thinks that's a better idea than rebarreling a rifle.
