RE: Question for match directors and NRA rule wonks
Your Kestrel wind meter isn't on the banned list at Med rocks, if you want to see what the conditions are like before you go up to shoot, have at it.Shy

As a matter of fact drag out your range finder & make sure the targets distance is as posted. I do once in a while. Angel

Some thinks its funny to not have the proper distance posted, me, not so funny. Just increases the irritation factor, they start to build up & once given a reason to go somewhere else, people do. Angry

A shoot should be conducted with as little irritation as possible to the shooters, rules are needed but sometimes they become overbearing and burdensome.Dodgy

I've been wanting to buy one for 5 yrs, thinks me just might do it tonight. Cause I need all the devine intervention I can get.Tongue

Also remember at the Quigley a few years back the fella that won on that particularly windy bugger of a shoot, kept coming up to where another fella that had one of those on his cart and I were sitting waiting our turn. Guy would look at the thing, and say "ya know those aren't legal for NRA", and go up to the line and get his stuff ready.
Got to the point Joe and I would see him coming and in unison, we'ld say "ya know....):

Might just try that this fall. But why don't you come up the week after the Q and take in Shadow 4 1st annual World Championship longrange shoot? He'll buy the beer and provide the roast beef.
