RE: MVA Sharps mid range sight ?
as I sit here monkeying with this sight and looking out the window, its 50°, sunshinny, and not a puff of wind, this is such a female dog

Put the original back on and pinch it down, see if it wants to 'creep' when you turn the elevation screw.
When you sent the sight back to MVA-Did the sight go with the Hadley or the original eye disc?

RE: MVA Sharps mid range sight ?
I just tried them both Gary and tried to pinch both about the same amount
the resistance on the elevation screw felt identical to me
maybe I might have gotten timid about pinching eye disc to much, I am just following what Jim told me on the phone just before I sent the complete site back to him last spring[?]

RE: MVA Sharps mid range sight ?
Does the threaded section/shoulder on both eye dices look and measure the same??
Me thinks, that you just need to add a bit of torque when you tighten the eye disc. Use 3 fingers

RE: MVA Sharps mid range sight ?
yes they match perfectly if you mate them together and they also both measure 0.260 in length
Me thinks that you thinks just right, I must just be trying to be to careful in not over tightening as Jim told me on the phone a few months back

Go for it, and put a few rounds down range to confirm.
