Rocky Mtn regional BPTR
Eron Ahmer and co at the Colorado Rifle Club range north of Byers Co. are hosting the Rocky Mtn Regional BPTR match on Sept 7-9. If you want to shoot a first class creedmoor range , this is surely the place to do it.
Flier and entry form can be found here.

Gary yes it would, max weight is 15 lbs unless shooting scope or the tollefson class.
Not sure if the bptr rules are available online or not. Take a gander at the NRA competitions page and might look in the competitors booklet availabe online for this years BPTR championsips at Raton.

Thanks Don, I did look at both areas and didn't see what I was looking for.
I will look again, just in case I missed it the first time.

Gary either one of your Shiloh's are just fine for the bptr matches. Got to tell ya, I can see why folks like these longrange matches. I know I could really get hooked on them if there were more available within reasonable travel.
Just really wish Eron would of picked a different weekend for this match.

Shucks lump with the cheap airfare's between Denver and the left coast you could probably fly out to every shoot cheaper than you could drive even living half close...

Not cheaper to fly and stay for the 2 of us I don't think.
For Barbara and I, camping out at the range is half the fun.

RE: Rocky Mtn regional BPTR
They run 75$ roundtrips Denver to LA and Vegas fairly regular....
There's a couple of motels in Byers, not 5 star by anymeans but a place out of the rain. Also there's the option of staying in Ft. Morgan or Wiggins, or even Lyman. The range is sort of out in the middle of nowhere so camping at the range is the best bet.
